Orvieto (Tr). Now in its third edition, the Orvieto Umbria Folk Festival will take place in Piazza del Popolo from August 20th to 23rd - four days of traditional folk music, dancing, cuisine and crafts that aims to increase awareness on increasingly important issues such as intercultural exchange among peoples. Every evening at 8pm there will be a section of the event devoted to the varied and rich local wine and food traditions.
The event has been organised under the patronage of the Umbria Folk Festival cultural organisation, the Comune di Orvieto - Assessorati alla Cultura e Turismo, the Provincia di Terni, the Regione Umbria, the Comunità Montana Monte Peglia e Selva di Meana and GAL Trasimeno Orvietano.
Open from 7pm till midnight. Free admission.
