BY CAR
Whether you’re coming from north or south, take the
A1 motorway FLORENCE - ROME (exit at Orvieto).
From Perugia, take the E45 PERUGIA - TODI highway (exit at Todi), then take the road that runs along Lake Corbara, to Orvieto.

HOW TO GET INTO TOWN
The high plateau on which Orvieto stands is closed to non-resident traffic but there are a number of ways of getting up into the old centre of town from the valley below.
Leave your car below and take the
Bracci funicular from the railway station or
use the system of lifts and escalators from
Campo della Fiera, where there is also a large covered parking lot.
